About Zak:
Zak Aboudane is a Grand Blanc, MI-based business owner and investor specializing in healthcare services, real estate, and senior living. He is the owner and founder of multiple businesses and is actively involved in various healthcare companies within the healthcare services space.
Zak is passionate about creating and investing in businesses that enhance the quality of life for seniors, ensuring they receive top-tier care and support. With a focus on senior living, healthcare services, and real estate, Zak’s investment portfolio demonstrates his commitment to fostering environments where seniors thrive. About Clarence:
Clarence is the President of The Wirt-Rivette Group (WRG) and a Co-Founder for Synergy Senior Management. Clarence’s insight, proven leadership, business achievements and global experience assists the company, its partners, and clients in achieving their strategic goals.
He is adept at identifying growth innovations, creating strength-based organizations, and developing leaders at all levels of an organization. He established innovative international new product design, development, and marketing teams (Compass Teams). He has designed global strategies, foreign market entry and growth plans, as well as participated in various international development joint venture programs to include being one of the first Americans to assist business people in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia in their transition from a planned economy to a market-based system. He was selected to instruct senior Chinese business people in international business and global strategy development. He has also conducted consulting and strategy development for organizations in Vietnam and Myanmar.
Further, he was responsible for the strategic integration of five global subsidiaries following a successful M&A/management buyout. Clarence’s global leadership and perspective are supported with his past roles in as a Naval Intelligence Officer, service in Asia and at the Defense Intelligence Agency. He was an intelligence briefer for the Joint Chief of Staff and Secretary Defense as a Navy Lieutenant. His professional experience and military career have taken him to over 40 nations. Over the past 5 years his team based approach has resulted in WRG deploying over $61MM in various development and joint venture activities. Several of these have included major health systems.
He has been featured in national publications such as Nations Business, World Trade, and Business Wisdom Delivered and shares his experience and insight in various volunteer assignments, board positions and teaching. Clarence has served an Adjunct Professor in Marketing, Strategy and International Business and is a requested speaker at various conferences, programs, and symposiums.

About Nick:
Prior to working in the Senior Living Industry, Nick worked overseas in global marketing and sales assignments with CPG brands including Procter & Gamble, Reynolds Consumer Goods, and AB InBev. Nick is passionate about serving seniors and enhancing the lives of residents, their families, communities, and employees. Nick Rivette assumed the role of Managing Partner of Synergy Senior Management following the 2024 merger of Synergy with WRG Senior Living, where he previously served as Partner and Director of Senior Living. Nick’s focus includes executive-level strategic, financial, and HR management of Synergy’s independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities throughout Michigan, with 750+ units and over 400 employees. He also identifies, evaluates, and structures new investment opportunities in senior living and other related healthcare businesses.

About Larry:
Larry has over 20 years of experience in healthcare related logistics including 10 years of experience consulting and setting up joint venture companies with large healthcare corporations. He has extensive experience providing management oversight and administrative services for these organizations. Over the last 6 years, Larry has developed the Senior Living Executive team providing direction and oversight to the Human Resources, payroll, and IT departments at Synergy Senior Management.

About Megan:
Beginning her journey in senior living 10 years ago, Megan quickly found a passion for caring for seniors. She spent years as an Executive Director, managing various assisted living and memory care facilities. As her career progressed, Megan embraced the opportunity to expand her influence by stepping into the role of Regional Director of Operations. In this capacity, she oversees multiple communities, ensuring that each one maintains the highest standards of care and service.
Today, Megan holds a dual role as both the Regional Director of Operations and Marketing Director for our senior living portfolio. This unique combination allows her to blend her operational experience with her creative marketing skills, effectively promoting our communities and the care we provide. Throughout her career, Megan has cherished the relationships she has built along the way. She treasures the stories of the residents, bonds with their families, and continually learns from her fellow professionals.

About Donna:
Donna is an experienced investor in commercial and residential properties. When Synergy Senior Management and WRG merged in January 2024, Donna assumed regional director responsibilities over 3 communities. She has extensive experience in real estate, property management, and has dabbled in accounting and Human Resources. In addition to her career background, Donna excels at building a team and handling complex situations with ease.
Donna is committed to managing administrative operations and personnel. She is also responsible for ensuring the care of residents is of the highest quality. Donna works hard to establish positive employee relations and overall growth in each community. Her passion for caring for seniors and their quality of life is her focus. She finds satisfaction in knowing that residents are being taken care of at this stage of their lives.

About Shelli:
Shelli Lund is currently the Human Resources Manager at Synergy overseeing payroll, benefits
administration and human resources. Shelli has over 18 years of management experience in
Human Resources, initially working for a large specialty pharmacy and transitioning to a large
medical transportation company. Shelli has worked within the senior living industry for over 6
years starting out providing Human Resources oversight to approximately 50 employees to
currently over 450.

About Hillary:
Hillary Trinckel-Adams is one of our Human Resources Associates and helps provide HR support to our entire senior living portfolio. She has over 5 years of experience with Human Resources in the medical field in addition to over 15 years of experience in Medical Billing and Accounts Receivables. Hillary also owns and operates a dance school in Genesee County that allows her to share her passion for dance with her community.

About Alex:
After a short time working at a CPA firm, I accepted a position at The Wirt-Rivette Group. After a few months, my primary focus shifted to senior living accounting and HR. In January 2024, when Synergy Senior Management and WRG merged their senior living management companies, I increased my focus to include more financial reporting and analysis. As an accountant, I enjoy financial analysis and finding little ways to improve systems to increase efficiency. I find it very gratifying to help provide the back-end support to our onsite team to provide the highest quality care possible.

About Tony:
Tony worked in the hospital setting to get a solid foundation right out of nursing school. Upon leaving the hospital, he went on to manage multiple hospice programs, inpatient, and home care programs and shared a role as a Certified HomeCare manager. Tony is excited to be back in the education realm of nursing in an effort to teach others to be able to deliver excellent and compassionate care to those we serve. What he loves most about serving seniors is making them as comfortable as possible and allow them to live their best life through the physical and loving care that he can provide them.

About Jennifer:
Jennifer’s career started over 25 years ago while caring for patients suffering from traumatic brain injuries. While working in the role of Resident Teaching Assistant, Jennifer received extensive clinical & behavioral training through the years. This ultimately gave her the experience to provide optimal care. Her compassion and empathy for our residents show as she finds fulfillment in making each and every day some of the best days for our residents. Jennifer has been at Serene Gardens of Hartland and grown into her role as the Executive Director.

About Cheri:
Cheri Cordell leads Legacies Village Independent Living as the Executive Director. She’s a Certified Assisted Living Director and Certified Dementia Practitioner, as well as a licensed Real Estate Sales Professional, and has excelled in Senior Living project development, investor relations,community outreach and initiating cross-generational partnership opportunities. Cheri has been blessed to serve seniors for 19 years and has had the pleasure of partnering with several companies in start-up of new Communities through construction into opening, along with regional positions in operations and business development. Cheri’s extensive experience throughout the state and her ability to connect with seniors and their families has fueled her passion to enhance the lives of seniors across Michigan.
Cheri began her career in senior living based in part from caring for her Grandparents, and Mom & Dad. Cheri’s philosophy for our seniors to providing a loving home with respect, dignity, and purpose. “It’s truly an extension of our families, and each community is very special” to Cheri. Cheri also enjoys spending time with her family, and kitties!
